Job summary

NFP mid-tier healthcare provider in south-western Sydney is expanding and seeks an FP&A professional to support budgets and financial performance for Medical Centers.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager and CFO, you will prepare journals, budgets, forecasts, and provide insights to guide management decisions. The role includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A couple of years of Management Accounting / FP&A experience.
• Experience working across multiple parts of a business, and comfortable dealing with operational and non-finance staff.
• Solid experience with developing financial reports.
• Experience in health sector or non-profit sector is a plus but not essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Support audit processes, funding acquittals and financial compliance requirements.

South-western Sydney based role, paying to $125k + super + full FBT packaging of $16k

The Company

Our client is fully funded healthcare provider whose mission is to provide universal healthcare to all Australians. Their services include GP managed clinics, Mental Health and support services to First Nations people. With a mandate to roll out dozens more clinics statewide in the years, it’s a rare opportunity to join a meaningful business on the rise.

The role

Reporting through to the FP&A Manager, and with frequent interactions with the CFO, the primary focus of this role is to support the Medical Centers’ Operational Managers to manage their budgets, provide analysis and then communicate the financial performance to the Finance leadership team.

More specifically the role will:

Prepare journals, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business performance.

Provide financial analysis, insights, and guidance to management and stakeholders to aid decision-making.

Support audit processes, funding acquittals, and financial compliance requirements.

Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting improvements across the organisation.

Lead or contribute to finance-related projects and provide support to the Finance Manager as required.

Maintain up-to-date accounting and legislative knowledge to deliver expert financial advice.

Build strong relationships across the business and support managers in achieving financial objectives.

Contribute to a positive, culturally safe, diverse, and compliant workplace.

Participate in team and organisational initiatives while supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Your Background
