Qualifications

• Extensive background in major gift fundraising with ability to identify and negotiate $1 million plus gifts.
• Proven track record of achieving stretch financial targets.
• Strong relationship-building and leadership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading a team and driving pipeline targets.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomy and high self-motivation.
• Mentoring/coaching of junior development colleagues.
• Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Raise major gifts across faculties and schools.
• Lead development initiatives with a focus on major gifts ($1M+) and donor strategy.
• Identify and engage high net-worth prospects and align interests with university priorities.
• Manage and nurture relationships with Heads of School and Deans.
• Build and drive a pipeline to meet annual fundraising targets.
