Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an Associate Director of Development, Law to lead major gifts fundraising in support of the Law School and its strategic priorities. You will identify, cultivate and solicit high-net-worth donors, building a robust pipeline of gifts of AUD 100,000 and more.

You will collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple gifts end-to-end, and help drive a culture of excellence, integrity and impact across the advancement portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in major gifts fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate and close gifts of $100k+.
• Track record of achieving financial targets in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with teams.
• Strong relationship building and exceptional communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and strong time-management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and negotiate $100,000+ gift opportunities.
• Develop and manage major gifts pipeline for the School of Law.
• Engage high-net-worth donors and align priorities with university goals.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to advance fundraising campaigns.
