Job summary

Glencore's Rolleston Open Cut is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety and drive reliable plant performance. The role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and involves mentoring supervisors, coordinating priorities and managing contractors to meet safety and quality standards.

You will oversee maintenance planning, records, and KPI reporting while providing leadership across a 7/7 operation in a large open-cut coal mine environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar lead maintenance role in a heavy industry environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices and standards.
• Proven ability to lead safety culture and drive incident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor HME Maintenance Supervisors with daily direction.
• Drive safety, quality, performance and site-standards compliance.
• Develop supervisor capability via coaching and reviews.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with Planning and Reliability teams.
• Improve crew communication and handovers on status and priorities.
• Provide safety leadership and support risk management and investigations.
• Maintain SAP/MinVu maintenance records and reporting.
• Manage contractors to meet safety, quality and warranty requirements.
• Monitor performance, uptime and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Provide coverage and support across a 7/7 operation.
