Job summary

Independent Plumbing & Gas Fitting (IPG) in Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Plumber to join our team. You will run jobs independently, solve onsite problems, and take pride in quality workmanship.

We offer full-time and 4-day week options for the right person, with variety across maintenance, commercial and civil plumbing. Mentoring apprentices and working with a supportive team are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Current plumbing qualifications and appropriate licence.
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Good drainage knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage jobs independently and produce clear job notes/photos/recommendations.

Responsibilities

• General plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Fault finding and leak detection.
• Blocked drains, sewer and stormwater repairs.
• CCTV inspections and high-pressure jetting.
• Gas fitting and appliance installations.
• Civil plumbing and infrastructure works.
• Mentoring apprentices.
