Job summary

Aegis Provides is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Officer for its Redcliffe facility. You will develop and deliver engaging lifestyle and therapy programs, coordinate staff, and help residents settle in while aligning with dining and activity options.

Experience in therapy is essential, with aged care and hospitality exposure considered beneficial. This role involves working within a team and independently in a supportive aged care environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coordinating lifestyle and therapy programs in aged care.
• Therapy experience is essential and aged care experience is desirable.
• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive, meaningful lifestyle programs.
• Coordinate, supervise, and participate in daily delivery of programs under the Facility Manager and Occupational Therapist.
• Promote lifestyle programs during admissions and discuss dining options with new residents.
• Act as liaison to ensure resident meal preferences and lifestyle requests are met.
• Manage lifestyle activities including intergenerational events and bus trips, and organize meetings.
