Respect is seeking a Social Care Coordinator at Merbein to lead and oversee the social care program, delivering resident-centered activities and coordinating staff and volunteers.

You will partner with the General Manager to develop an inclusive social environment, build community connections, and ensure records and resources are managed within budget, improving residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or similar qualification is required.
• Experience supervising and delivering a social care program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and review engaging social, recreational and therapeutic activities that are resident-focused.
• Lead and support Social Care Assistants and volunteers.
• Develop relationships with local community groups and partners.
• Facilitate resident meetings and encourage resident participation in planning.
