Respect Masters Lodge in Hervey Bay is seeking a dedicated Social Care Coordinator to lead our social care program, delivering resident-focused activities and building strong community links. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, work with the General Manager and team, and foster an inclusive social environment for residents.

This role suits someone passionate about working with older people, with experience supervising a social care program and excellent communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or similar qualification.
• Experience supervising and delivering a social care program.
• Empathetic and resident-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship-building and organisational skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Proficient computer and information management skills.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current National Police Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate and review engaging social, recreational and therapeutic activities that are resident-focused.
• Lead and support Social Care Assistants and volunteers.
• Develop strong relationships with local community groups, schools, sporting organisations and other community partners.
• Facilitate resident meetings and encourage residents to have an active voice in planning activities and programs.
• Develop and maintain a vibrant volunteer program that encourages community engagement and resident participation.
• Maintain appropriate records, program registers and social care documentation.
• Manage social care resources, inventory and expenditure within the approved budget.
• Contribute to facility management meetings and strategic social care planning.
• Support compliance with organisational policies, legislation and relevant standards.
• Participate in professional development, mandatory training and quality improvement activities.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for residents, families, visitors, volunteers and colleagues.
