Job summary

Aveo is seeking a Community Manager for The Sanctuary Retirement Living in Caboolture South, QLD. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, compliance and exceptional resident experience while managing a large on-site team.

You will drive financial performance, oversee budgets, oversee facilities, and collaborate with multiple Aveo teams to enhance the community. This role suits hospitality/operations leaders with a passion for service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing Operations or General Manager role in hospitality or retirement living.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for leading a large team.
• Experience in customer engagement and satisfaction, and resolving resident concerns with practical outcomes.
• Resilient, self-motivated with a focus on KPI improvements and resident satisfaction.
• Financial acumen with experience in P&L budgets and presenting budgets to residents.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and lead operations of village services, including compliance, safety & security, people leadership, facilities management and resident culture.
• Foster a culture of resident satisfaction through open communication, professionalism, honesty, and regular resident connection.
• Oversee community budgets with internal finance partners and present updates to residents.
• Collaborate with maintenance, contractors and Aveo Facilities to improve facilities and grounds.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, rostering, performance management and development of department managers and teams.
