Anglicare Sydney invites you to join our team as a Lifestyle Carer, designing and delivering engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing and a sense of purpose for our residents.

In this permanent part-time role, you will help residents stay connected, active and engaged, while collaborating with families and care teams to support holistic care plans and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or higher in health-related field.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate required.
• Experience in aged care or similar setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of aged care quality and accreditation requirements.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity through meaningful engagement.
• Learn residents' life stories, interests and goals to inform personalised activities.
• Work with residents, families and care teams to support holistic care plans.
• Communicate activity calendars and evaluate programs to improve resident outcomes.
• Follow safety, quality and aged care requirements.
