Job summary

Anglicare Sydney in Castle Hill invites expressions of interest for a Lifestyle Carer to design and deliver engaging programs that promote social interaction, wellbeing and purpose for residents. You will facilitate activities, support independence, and work with families and care teams to tailor holistic plans.

Ideal applicants hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a Bachelor/Diploma in Health Science/Community Services, plus an NDIS check and current First Aid.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Bachelor/Diploma in Health Science or Community Services
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs
• Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity through engagement
• Learn residents' life stories, interests and goals to inform activities
• Collaborate with families and care teams to support holistic care plans
• Communicate activity calendars and evaluate programs to improve outcomes
• Follow safety, quality and aged care requirements

Education
