Qualifications

• Proven experience provisioning and managing UNIX/Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Solaris, Oracle Linux).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Strong experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code and system lifecycle management.
• Relevant Linux or virtualization certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of OS hardening techniques and security tools.
• Experience supporting application servers such as WebLogic and JBoss.
• Ability to install, patch, configure, troubleshoot, and tune systems effectively.
• Familiarity with disk management tools (Solaris/Linux) and CIS Benchmark standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement by automating deployments, configuration updates, and reducing manual effort.
• Execute application/platform changes, releases, and service requests across supported environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement service improvement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve major incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management, with proper documentation.
