You will work with a collaborative team on high-profile matters, applying Australian standards and legal principles to deliver clear, defendable reports and effective decisions for clients and insurers.

Qualifications

• Proven liability adjusting experience with substantial personal injury exposure.
• Experience with property liability is advantageous.
• Strong interviewing and evidence analysis skills.
• Ability to produce clear, defendable reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients, competing priorities and claim milestones; negotiate settlements where instructed.
• Investigate personal injury and property liability claims, including incidents where a claim is anticipated.
• Interview claimants, insureds, employees and witnesses, and obtain clear signed statements.
• Reconcile competing accounts and gather supporting evidence for liability assessment, litigation and discovery.
• Deliver high-quality reports with clear findings and strategic recommendations.
• Apply relevant legal principles, legislation, codes of practice and Australian Standards.
