Job summary

Crawford is seeking an experienced Senior Liability Adjuster to join its Sydney team. You will manage a mixed portfolio of personal injury and property liability matters, from slips, trips and falls through to catastrophic injury and fatality claims.

Depending on the brief, assignments may involve early factual investigation and evidence preservation, or end-to-end claim management and settlement negotiation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to interview claimants, witnesses and insureds.
• Ability to analyse evidence and draft clear liability reports.
• Experience handling personal injury and property liability matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients, competing priorities and claim milestones; negotiate settlements where instructed.
• Investigate personal injury and property liability claims; gather supporting evidence.
• Interview claimants, insureds, employees and witnesses; obtain signed statements.
• Reconcile accounts and gather evidence for liability assessment and discovery.
• Deliver high-quality reports with findings and recommendations.
• Apply relevant legal principles, legislation and standards in Australia.
