Job summary

Synergie Australia is partnering with a well-established logistics and warehousing organisation to appoint an experienced Senior Forklift Driver / Team Leader to join their operations team in Kingsgrove, Sydney NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional stepping into leadership while operating forklifts and guiding a team.

You'll lead daily warehouse activities, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvements, with a Monday–Friday day shift and a salary of

Qualifications

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Proven forklift experience in warehouse/logistics.
• Previous leadership experience or capability to lead a team.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands-on work ethic.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Committed to a safe and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently across warehouse operations.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and safety compliance.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, dispatch and stock movements.
• Lead by example and support team members to achieve operational targets.
• Assist with workflow planning and task allocation across the warehouse team.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and stock management practices.
• Promote and uphold workplace health and safety standards.
• Support training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

What you will be required to do:

As a Senior Forklift Driver / Team Leader, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations while providing guidance and support to team members.
