Job summary

Western Sydney University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law for an Indigenous Identified role to advance teaching and research in law. The position is located in Parramatta or Campbelltown with hybrid flexibility and is identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants under NSW law.

You will lead design and delivery of innovative learning across undergrad and postgrad programs, support student progression, and contribute to quality assurance.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant area of law and a demonstrated research track record relative to opportunity.
• Experience designing and delivering learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative learning activities across undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.
• Support student learning and progression through high quality teaching, assessment design, curriculum enhancement and academic quality assurance.
• Build and maintain a productive research profile, conduct individual and collaborative research, contribute to grant applications and supervise HDR students.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including the legal profession and community partners.
• Supervise HDR students and mentor colleagues to foster academic development.
