Job summary

Western Sydney University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law, identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. The role supports excellence in education and research with hybrid flexibility and locations in Parramatta or Campbelltown.

The appointee will contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, pursue a productive research profile, and engage with industry and legal communities to strengthen the School of Law’s reputation.

Qualifications

• PhD in law with a demonstrated research track record relative to opportunity.
• Experience designing and delivering learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective teaching, learning activities and assessment that supports student achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality assurance within law programs.
• Produce high quality research outputs and participate in competitive funding applications.
• Supervise HDR students and mentor colleagues to foster academic development.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including the legal profession and community partners.
