Empire Group is recruiting a senior governance executive to lead the Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance function at a large, complex organisation in Brisbane. The role reports to the executive leadership team and boards, delivering independent assurance, enhancing risk maturity and embedding a culture of accountability, integrity and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Qualificações

• Experience in a General Manager, Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-wide Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Experience developing governance, risk management and assurance frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership across Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of governance, risk management and assurance frameworks.
• Deliver independent assurance to support decisions and performance.
• Partner with senior executives and governance committees for trusted risk advice.
• Drive improvements in risk maturity, governance capability and compliance.
• Oversee internal audit planning, delivery, QA and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead fraud and corruption control frameworks and promote integrity.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team delivering enterprise-wide outcomes.
