You will lead end-to-end delivery, define the data platform roadmap, and govern pipelines, data models, and lakehouse architectures using Azure services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience, with 15+ years in Data Engineering.
• Lead data engineering programs and large teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise data transformations.
• Experience building and scaling data engineering teams.
• Experience in multi-vendor, globally distributed delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and delivery governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platforms (architecture, development, deployment, optimization).
• Define and drive the data platform roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Architect and govern scalable data pipelines, data models, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions on Azure.
• Provide technical leadership via design and code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric, APIs, Azure Functions, and Python-based solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and governance with optimized cloud costs.
• Establish data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps and Agile delivery across the data landscape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Mentor Data Engineering teams and foster innovation.
