XPT Software Australia seeks an experienced Lead Data Engineer to drive strategy and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will lead architecture, governance, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Azure data services and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platforms on Azure.
• Define data platform roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Architect and govern data pipelines, models, warehouses, and lakehouses.
• Provide technical leadership through reviews and best practices.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric, APIs, and Python solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Enforce data governance, quality, and compliance standards.
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Mentor Data Engineering teams and foster innovation.
