Job summary

Talent International is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Cultural Safety Learning to lead the design and delivery of the Cultural Safety Learning Program across NSW offices. You will embed culturally responsive approaches, work with First Nations peoples and lead a team to deliver meaningful outcomes.

The role is a 12‑month contract with extension potential, paying $602.55 per day plus super, with 7.6 hours per day (38 hours per week) and office locations in NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex training, learning and workforce capability initiatives with governance and risk management.
• Strong project and program management skills including planning, monitoring, reporting and timely delivery.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with First Nations peoples and communities to support genuine partnerships.
• Strong analytical skills to assess information, evaluate policy impacts and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Proven leadership including managing resources, setting priorities and fostering high-performing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive briefs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of the Cultural Safety Learning Program and related workforce capability initiatives.
• Oversee scheduling, coordination and delivery of facilitated and self-directed training.
• Champion organisational and cultural change with First Nations contexts.
• Manage program planning, governance, risks, milestones, evaluation and reporting to executives.
• Provide high-level cultural safety learning, policy and strategic advice, including ministerial briefs and submissions.
• Build partnerships and co-design with First Nations peoples and internal stakeholders.
