Job summary
HopgoodGanim Lawyers in Perth seeks a Senior Lawyer (5–8+ years PQE) to join the Resources & Energy team. You will draft and negotiate key project and commercial documents, support day-to-day matters with supervision, and advise on regulatory matters as the energy transition unfolds.
You will contribute to a collaborative, client‑focused practice, mentoring junior lawyers and working across major Australian and international clients on decarbonisation, renewables, and new technology initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years PQE in a projects or commercial team.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Experience in energy transition or regulatory matters is advantageous.
- Collaborative mindset with mentoring ability.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate project and commercial documents.
- Manage day-to-day matters with appropriate supervision.
- Provide regulatory advice and assess evolving industry frameworks.
- Support across mining, oil and gas, including due diligence and contracting.
- Build trusted client relationships and contribute to a collaborative team.
