Job summary

Urban Grounds & Gardens is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Landscape Construction to join our Construction Division in Sydney. You will manage multiple commercial landscape projects from mobilisation to practical completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and compliance with specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, WHS commitment and collaboration with clients, contractors and consultants. This full-time position offers growth within a growing division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management, ideally in commercial landscape.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong commercial management incl. budgets, forecasting, variations and margins.
• Experience with head contractors and contract administration.
• Proven leadership and people management capability.
• Solid understanding of WHS requirements, risk management and compliance.
• Experience procuring and cost-managing subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and problem-solving.
• Valid unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from mobilisation to practical completion.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting and progress claims.
• Handle contract administration, documentation and subcontract procurement.
• Lead Site Supervisors and field teams, ensuring productivity and safety.
• Ensure safety compliance with WHS legislation and site procedures.
• Plan programs, coordinate resources, procurement, and priorities.
• Maintain relationships with head contractors, clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Oversee quality, inspections, defects, and handovers.
