Job summary

ADW Johnson in NSW is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead and grow our Landscape Architecture team, delivering masterplanned communities, public open spaces, parks, streetscapes, recreation facilities, community infrastructure and public realm projects across NSW.

You will mentor staff, strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development, while helping shape the growth of our practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary consultancy that values long-term careers

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in landscape architecture.
• Qualifications in Landscape Architecture and AILA membership or eligibility.
• Experience in NSW delivering public realm, open space and community infrastructure.
• Strong design, technical and project management capabilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with desire for business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of landscape architecture and public realm projects.
• Prepare and oversee landscape masterplans, public domain plans and open space strategies.
• Provide technical direction and quality assurance across projects.
• Lead and mentor landscape architects, graduates and project teams.
• Collaborate with urban designers, planners, engineers and surveyors to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Present design concepts and project outcomes to clients, councils and government agencies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with proposals, submissions and business development initiatives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the Landscape Architecture business.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the team.
