Arcadia Landscape Architecture is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect to steer design direction on major Sydney projects and mentor the next generation of landscape architects. You will lead the design development, oversee technical documentation, and drive project delivery while building client relationships and contributing to the studio’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) is required.
• Extensive professional experience in landscape architecture with staff and project management.
• Strong design and technical skills with modern construction techniques and industry programs.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet scope and deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with client-facing maturity.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across scales, ensuring budget and schedule adherence.
• Lead design development to maintain consistent design excellence.
• Oversee production of high-quality deliverables including site inspections and cost planning.
• Drive business development by sourcing new work and drafting submissions.
• Cultivate relationships with clients to drive successful project outcomes.
• Provide people management through training, mentoring, and performance assessment.
• Handle project administration including timesheets and invoicing support.
