Job summary

Stantec in Canberra is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape Architecture team on a permanent basis. You will contribute to the design, visualisation and documentation of a wide range of landscape projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across Australia.

We offer flexible working, development opportunities and a supportive culture. Applicants should hold an AILA qualification with 7+ years in consulting and strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

• AILA-recognised qualification in Landscape Architecture.
• Minimum 7 years in consulting or equivalent as Landscape Architect.
• Registration with AILA is advantageous; support can be provided.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and document landscape packages.
• Prepare design documents such as reports and cost opinions.
• Support business development with proposals and client relations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen services.
• Stay informed on industry standards and design trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
