Job summary

LatStudios is seeking a Landscape Architect or Senior Landscape Architect to join our Melbourne team. The role focuses on technical landscape design, documentation and project delivery across a range of landscape architecture and urban design projects.

Senior applicants may lead projects and documentation teams, manage finances and programs, prepare proposals, and support studio management and business development activities. AILA registration is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape architecture documentation and project delivery.
• Strong ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary documentation packages.
• Mentoring and leading junior team members in technical design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate landscape documentation from design development through tender and construction.
• Develop landscape details, planting plans, schedules and specifications.
• Resolve technical requirements in collaboration with consultants (drainage, soils, irrigation).
• Review and coordinate information from architecture, civil, structural and services teams.
• Respond to RFIs and support projects through tender and construction.
• Mentor less-experienced team members and build client/consultant relationships.
• Contribute to advancement of the profession and deliver design excellence.
