Job summary

Stantec Australia is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect in Canberra to join our growing team. The role involves contributing to design, visualisation and documentation across a diverse range of landscape projects, including urban design led infrastructure and community development.

As part of a national landscape design team, you will collaborate with planning, ecology, engineering and transportation professionals, and support business development through proposals and client engagement.

Qualifications

• AILA-qualified landscape architect or equivalent is expected.
• 7+ years' experience in consulting or related field with landscape architecture.
• Registration with AILA is advantageous but not required; support can be provided for candidates pursuing registration.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and document landscape architectural design packages.
• Prepare supporting design documents (design reports, cost estimates, etc.).
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to promote Landscape Architecture services.
• Stay informed on industry standards, emerging design trends and best practices.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
