Job summary

Visy is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Business Partner to partner with Visy Glass and senior stakeholders across the business. This influential role focuses on delivering financial targets, reducing warehousing and distribution costs, and driving continuous improvement across Australia and New Zealand.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, analyse data to uncover cost drivers, and shape commercial and service decisions.

• Partner with Visy Glass and Visy Logistics leaders to drive logistics, commercial and service outcomes.
• Identify logistics cost drivers and develop initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Own logistics-related issues through to resolution across cost, service and quality.
• Develop clear commercial and service analysis to support executive and senior-level decision making.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen service, productivity and overall logistics performance.
• Coordinate distribution-related budgets and contribute to forecasting and financial reviews.
• Identify, analyse and resolve complex logistics and commercial challenges using data and structured root-cause analysis.
• Build trusted relationships across operations, finance, customer service and senior leadership.

Senior Logistics Business Partner – Glass

Role Details:

Visy is a global leader in packaging and resource recovery, with integrated manufacturing and logistics capabilities supporting customers, partners and communities.

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager - Business Partner to join Visy Logistics, partnering closely with Visy Glass and senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a highly influential role for an experienced logistics professional who understands the commercial drivers behind a complex supply chain and knows how to turn data, operational insight and strong stakeholder relationships into better business outcomes.

You’ll take ownership of logistics-related initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on delivering financial targets, reducing warehousing and distribution costs, improving service and driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Visy Glass and Visy Logistics leaders to drive logistics, commercial and service outcomes
• Identify logistics cost drivers and develop initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve and eliminate inefficiencies
• Own logistics-related issues through to resolution across cost, service and quality
• Develop clear commercial and service analysis to support executive and senior-level decision making
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen service, productivity and overall logistics performance
• Coordinate distribution-related budgets and contribute to forecasting and financial reviews
• Identify, analyse and resolve complex logistics and commercial challenges using data and structured root-cause analysis
• Build trusted relationships across operations, finance, customer service and senior leadership
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve alignment, ownership and timely delivery of key initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• Significant logistics industry experience with a strong understanding of complex transport, warehousing and distribution environments
• Experience in commercial and/or customer-focused roles
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of logistics cost drivers and cost-to-serve
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted business relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience using structured root-cause analysis methodologies
• Confidence working with data and translating analysis into clear business recommendations
• Ability to navigate and influence within complex business environments
• Experience within manufacturing or the beverage sector would be advantageous
• Exposure to Just in Time production environments would also be highly regarded.
