Job summary

Telstra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build Java and Spring Boot applications using a microservices approach. You will work on secure, scalable solutions across complex systems, supporting all stages from configuration to production.

Qualifications

Degree-level qualifications in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related IT discipline.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot; microservices and design patterns.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Linux and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins or Bamboo.

Responsibilities

Design and build Java/Spring Boot applications using microservice architecture.
Develop secure, scalable, high-performing solutions across integrated systems.
Support full development lifecycle: configuration, development, testing and production support.
