Zusammenfassung

ALOIS Australia is seeking an experienced Java engineer to design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You'll build API services that integrate digital/channel apps with Core Banking platforms and downstream systems, and develop Kafka producers/consumers for event-driven processing.

You will implement robust error handling, validation, audit logging, and monitoring across API and Kafka flows, and lead code reviews while ensuring secure coding standards.

Qualifikationen

• Proven Java development experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / JWT and TLS/mTLS.

• Troubleshoot integration and production issues across APIs, Kafka and backend/core banking services.
• Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, testers, DevOps engineers and SMEs throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and production releases.

Experience, Tools & Technologies:

• Strong hands-on Java, preferably Java 10+ years of experience
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Spring Security
• RESTful API and microservices development
• Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
• Kafka Producer/Consumer APIs and preferably Spring for Apache Kafka
• OAuth 2.0, JWT and TLS/mTLS
• SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Git and Maven/Gradle
• Junit and API/integration testing
• Docker and containerised application development
• CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Observability and monitoring using platforms such as Splunk, Grafana or Application Insights
