ALOIS Australia is seeking an experienced Java engineer to design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You'll build API services that integrate digital/channel apps with Core Banking platforms and downstream systems, and develop Kafka producers/consumers for event-driven processing.

You will implement robust error handling, validation, audit logging, and monitoring across API and Kafka flows, and lead code reviews while ensuring secure coding standards.

Competenze

• Proven Java development experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / JWT and TLS/mTLS.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build API services integrating digital/channel applications with Core Banking platforms and downstream banking systems.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers for asynchronous and event-driven processing.
• Implement exception handling, validation, audit logging, monitoring and traceability across API and Kafka flows.
• Write unit, component and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito and Testcontainers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding, API and microservices engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot integration and production issues across APIs, Kafka and backend/core banking services.
• Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, testers, DevOps engineers and SMEs throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and production releases.
