Job summary

ASX is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineering professional to lead CI/CD design and automation across multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, VMware). The role supports accelerated delivery, environment provisioning, and modernisation strategy, working with SDLC toolchains and enterprise infrastructure.

You will become a subject-matter expert across toolsets, promote best practices in automation, and drive continuous improvement within a diverse, results-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major programs in complex agile environments.
• Delivered enterprise CI/CD capabilities and guided major programs to deliver business value.
• Senior cloud engineering experience in public, private and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CI/CD design and engineering processes adhere to standards and have defined controls.
• Be an active member of the Solution Engineering Community of Practice (CoP).
• Collaborate with engineers to uplift environment management via automation (CI/CD).
• Assist in accelerated delivery and service management of CI/CD tools and environments.
• Become SME of toolsets/processes used across the SDLC for continuous improvement in agility, quality, and tooling maturity.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Infrastructure on automation across stack from hardware to network and storage.
• Collaborate with test automation and release management to embed best practices in CI/CD.
• Ensuring major software milestones align with environment strategy.
• Communicate effectively across teams and motivate the broad-based team.
