Job summary

NCS Group Australia is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to solve complex issues and modernize client applications. The role demands deep AWS expertise and involves designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong experience in AWS.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Proven experience in managed services or enterprise support environments.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems and modernise applications in complex cloud environments.
• Lead incident response and problem management for critical issues.
• Design, implement, and support highly available AWS solutions.

Skills

Strong experience in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.)

Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, Direct Connect, DNS, hybrid architectures)

Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)

Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux workloads in AWS

Tools

Monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, LogicMonitor, etc.)

ITIL practices (certification highly regarded)
