Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java programming with design capabilities.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA and Hibernate.
• RESTful and WebService development with JAX-WS.
• Frontend familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Knowledge of code repositories (Git, SVN) and IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse).
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Agile workflows.
• Experience with Oracle databases and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Summary:

As the Full Stack Developer you will be involved in the analysis, design, development, and the enhancement of software products services. In this role you will report to the Manager, Application Development (Vehicle) and have responsibility for the build quality and the project deliverables in the Vehicle product space.

Required Capabilities:

• Create technical design across a catalogue of projects
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Design, code, unit test, build and deploy complex software components
• Define technical solutions through insight and requirements gathering
• Partner with development and testing teams to deliver software solutions
• Conduct ongoing code review and prepare relevant quality documentation
• Provide support to the solution architects with solution design
• Proven experience in conducting verification, debugging
• Excellent communication skills with a positive energy
• Excellent decision making and problem solving - comfortable working alone and can make decisions or know when to refer to senior manager

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in java programming with the ability to do code level design
• Proven experience in the use of related tech, such as:
• JAVA / J2EE
• Spring boot 1.3.x, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data, SQL
• Webservice experience using JAX-WS and RESTful web services.
• UI experience with Javascript, AngularJS 1.5+
• Build Tools - Maven, Gradle
• IDEs -IntelliJ, Eclipse, RAD
• Source code repositories - GIT, SVN.
• JIRA/Confluence and other tracking tools.
• Experience with Databases such as Oracle
• CI and CD Experience with Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo

• Experience in solving application memory or performance issues

• Ability to translate functional and non-functional user requirements to convert into quality software design
