Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to support Victorian Department of Education sites. This contract/casual or permanent role covers ICT infrastructure, servers, networks and enterprise environments, with pro-rata salary $80,000–$110,000.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, TSSP familiarity preferable, strong Hyper-V, Windows/Linux, cloud admin and 1:1/BYOD planning. Travel and police checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Hyper-V administration and virtualisation
• Windows and Linux server administration
• Cloud admin for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
• MDM deployment and management
• Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco/HP)
• Cisco wireless technologies (APs/controllers)
• SOE imaging deployment and troubleshooting
• Support for large fleets of desktops/notebooks
• 1:1 BYOD planning and deployment
• Strong documentation of IT systems and procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across DoE schools.
• Administer and support school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support services in large learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership and deliver ICT professional development when required
