Job summary

Sharp and Carter is assisting a large Queensland local government organisation to appoint a Senior IT Leader as Team Manager - Planning & Delivery. The role will oversee a team of IT professionals across business partnering, architecture, project management and service design, ensuring technology initiatives align with organisational priorities and deliver community value.

The role covers strategic planning, operational IT services and continuous improvement in a hybrid cloud and on-premises

Qualifications

Extensive IT experience across multiple disciplines, including project management, vendor management and IT service delivery.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business needs into IT solutions.
Postgraduate or professional IT/business qualifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a diverse IT team across planning, architecture, project delivery and service design.
Oversee governance and delivery of complex technology projects within scope, budget and timeframes.
Manage IT budgets, contracts, vendors and technology assets to improve value and performance.
Provide advice and reporting to senior leadership on project delivery and service performance.
