Job summary

MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking a senior operations leader to manage the Investment Operations team in Parramatta. You will drive client service delivery, operational risk controls and profitability, while leading onshore and offshore teams, and delivering automation initiatives.

You will shape product knowledge, governance and continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality client deliverables and efficient operations within a global financial group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role with 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Experience in custody, investment administration or investment management industries.
• Accounting qualification (CPA, CA) preferred, otherwise a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
• Strong financial product knowledge with securities/assets settlements and custody.
• Experience managing P&L statements to drive profitability and cost control.
• Experience driving process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Investment Operations team, focusing on client service delivery and operational risk management.
• Partner with sponsors on initiatives to develop new products and services for clients.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects to enhance service quality and efficiency, including automation.
• Manage end-to-end unit pricing and ensure profitability while controlling costs.
• Provide leadership and direction across onshore and offshore teams, including performance management and staff development.
• Maintain governance, risk compliance and information security standards across the team.
