Job summary

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Investment Operations or Fund Administration.
• Broad understanding of middle office processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional Trade Support including execution, capture, matching and settlement.
• Oversee ASIC reporting processes.
• Communicate collateral disputes to other regions as required.
• Oversee corporate actions and coordination with investment teams for elections.
• Manage cash management and oversee transfer agency cash flows and time-sensitive cash flows.
• Oversee reconciliations and TMV reporting, with break resolution support.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent processes and a follow-the-sun support model.

Job description

This market leading local Asset Management company has a great opportunity for an experienced Fund Operations Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for BAU oversight and Administration of the Middle Office services and additionally, the Regional Oversight Lead for Australia including the coordination and delivery of vendor oversight.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Oversee Regional Trade Support including trade execution and capture, trade matching and settlement
• Oversee ASIC reporting processes
• Communicate ongoing collateral disputes to other regions when required liaison
• Oversee corporate actions and communication with investment teams for voluntary elections
• Manage responsibilities relating to cash management and provide oversight of transfer agency cash flows, mandate cash flows and time sensitive cash flows
• Oversee reconciliations including break reporting, resolution and support and TMV reconciliations
• Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure consistency of process and follow the sun model, ensuring alignment with the custodians support model
• Ensure oversight processes and controls meet local requirements and reporting is provided, as required
• Support the professional development of the Investment Operations team
• Foster a culture of care, collaboration, openness and dedication
• Ensure the Investment Operations team is managing risk effectively

Required capabilities:

• Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in an Investment Operations/Fund Administration role
• Versatile and multi-skilled individuals with a broad understanding of middle office processes
• Strong understanding of the entire investment process in order to oversee activities across portfolios
• Proven ability to lead, influence and operate across various business units and with cross functional stakeholders
