Job summary

Compas PTY in Canberra, ACT, seeks a Senior Program Manager for an international development transition. The role manages a multi‑stream program, aligns procurement and funding reforms, and coordinates change activities across stakeholders. It is a 12‑month contract with possible extension and requires NV1 clearance.

You will lead the transition strategy, manage agreements and training related to SAP and financial systems, reporting to senior leadership on progress and risks.

Qualifications

• Senior program management experience across complex, multi‑stream initiatives.
• Strong procurement, contracting, grants and agreement-management expertise.
• Proven stakeholder engagement, change management and executive reporting skills.
• Experience with SAP, SAP GUI, Power BI or comparable government financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the implementation plan and roadmap for the program transition.
• Coordinate workstreams, monitor progress and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Review and transition agreements, grants and funding arrangements into new frameworks.
• Support the transition to SAP and related financial systems, including staff training.
