Qualifikationen

• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience delivering internal audit, risk assurance, or governance programs.
• Strong expertise in operational and IT audit, risk management, cybersecurity, and project assurance reviews.
• Sound knowledge of internal audit standards, governance frameworks, and control environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes at all levels.

Aufgaben

• Support the development and delivery of AEMO's risk-based internal audit and assurance program, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
• Plan, execute and document internal audit engagements, assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities, providing practical recommendations to strengthen business processes and outcomes.
• Leverage data analytics and insights to enhance audit effectiveness, identify trends and support informed decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, delivering clear audit findings, monitoring remediation actions and partnering with leaders to drive continuous improvement.
