You will deliver independent assurance, risk-based audits, and continuous monitoring across Australia, focusing on remediation governance and control improvements for regulators, the Board, and executive management. Qualifications

• Demonstrated internal audit capability with risk-based auditing and issue validation.
• Experience in insurance or financial services regulated environments.
• Ability to apply professional scepticism and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality internal audit work in accordance with global audit methodologies and regulatory expectations.
• Assess governance, risk management, and control environments across Australia.
• Plan, scope, and execute risk-based audit activities including walkthroughs and testing.
• Validate remediation effectiveness and sustainability of management actions.
• Prepare concise audit deliverables and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Engage with risk, compliance, legal, HR, and regional teams to maintain independence and drive improvements.
