Job summary

UniSuper is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to partner with the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the audit plan and strengthening governance, risk and controls. You will lead engagements, shape assurance insights and drive improvements across delivery models.

You will engage senior stakeholders, provide independent assurance, and help report themes to governance forums, while maintaining high audit quality and regulatory awareness within a highly regulated financial services

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of internal audit standards and governance, risk and control frameworks.
• Experience engaging with executive and governance stakeholders.
• Ability to lead others and drive audit quality across delivery models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translates risk into business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environment relevant to financial services and superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across delivery of the approved internal audit plan.
• Be accountable for audit quality across engagements, including oversight of providers.
• Direct audit scoping, execution strategy and key judgments aligned to risks.
• Lead engagement with senior stakeholders and provide assurance insights.
• Support reporting to executive/governance forums on risk themes and issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of audit methodology and ways of working.
