Qualifications

• Educational & professional credentials: a tertiary degree in Business, Law, or a relevant discipline, plus recognized certifications (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP).
• Regulatory & audit expertise: strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk frameworks, and Australian financial sector regulations.
• Execution & analysis: proven capability in running complex risk-based audits using modern testing tools and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Scope, execute, and finalize complex internal audits across diverse operational, technical, and financial units.
• Manage multiple concurrent audit workstreams with internal teams and external co-source partners to meet timelines.
• Uncover control gaps and emerging risks, delivering actionable recommendations balancing risk and business goals.
• Partner with business leaders to validate remediation plans and ensure root causes are addressed.
• Champion a strong risk awareness mindset through guidance in key business forums.
