Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead end-to-end assurance engagements across core operations for a major Australian superannuation provider. You will evaluate internal controls, risk architecture, and operational frameworks to strengthen governance and safeguard member data.

Collaborate with business leaders and external co-sources to scope, execute and finalise audits, identify gaps, and deliver actionable recommendations that balance growth with risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Proven capability in leading and delivering risk-based internal audits across diverse units.
• Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge with clear, commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Scope, execute, and finalize complex audits across operational, technical, and financial units.
• Manage multiple audit workstreams with internal teams and external co-source partners to meet deadlines.
• Identify control gaps and emerging risks, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Validate remediation plans with business leaders to ensure root causes are addressed.
• Promote a strong risk-awareness mindset through engagement in business forums.
