Job summary

Optus is seeking an Associate Director, Internal Audit – Transformation & Change to deliver independent, risk-based assurance across strategic transformation initiatives and enterprise-wide change activities. You will lead complex audits, partner with senior stakeholders, and strengthen controls to ensure sustainable business value while maintaining independence and objectivity.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Assurance, Consulting or related disciplines.
Proven ability to assess transformation, technology, operating models and business change initiatives.
Expertise in governance, portfolio/risk management and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead complex transformation, change and programme assurance reviews with independent assessment of governance, risk, controls and benefits realisation.
Evaluate major transformation initiatives and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Build trusted relationships with executives and sponsors, providing objective assurance insights.
Deliver high-quality audit outcomes through planning, analytics, and evidence-based reporting to Audit Committee and senior leadership.
Coach and develop audit professionals while enhancing transformation assurance capabilities.
