Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd, a sovereign submarine company, seeks a Senior Audit Specialist in Western Australia. You will lead audits from scoping to final report, test controls, and provide strategic insights to senior leaders and the Audit Committee.

You’ll be the face of the Group Internal Audit in WA, building relationships with key stakeholders while aligning with a national team. The role requires independence and a proactive approach in a complex environment handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Membership of, or eligibility for, IIA.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits and fraud investigations from scoping to final report.
• Prepare working papers with audit evidence in line with IPPF.
• Assess risks and controls to inform Audit Plan.
• Track management actions and close them based on evidence.
• Assist in preparing Board and Audit Committee papers.
• Engage with WA stakeholders and build local profile.
• Keep up with IIA developments and complete 40 hours PD yearly.
