Brunel, partnering with ASC in Australia, seeks a Senior Audit Specialist in WA to lead audits from the approved plan and advise senior leaders on risks and controls. The role is based in Western Australia with hybrid working and a national internal audit team.

You will test controls in practice, manage multiple audits, and develop risk-based plans while building relationships with WA stakeholders. A Masters is preferred and IIA membership or eligibility is required.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in internal audit, including in large or complex organisations
• In-depth understanding of the IIA IPPF and its practical application
• Proven track record of agreeing findings with senior leaders and executives
• Experience developing risk-based Internal Audit Plans aligned to organisational goals

Responsabilidades

• Lead internal audits and fraud investigations from scoping to final report
• Prepare working papers with audit evidence supporting findings
• Assess key risks and controls to inform the Audit Plan
• Track management actions and verify closure with evidence
• Assist in preparing Board and Audit Committee papers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IIA developments and contribute to the Audit Charter
