Job summary

Visy Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our day‑to‑day Intermodal transport operation based in Yennora, NSW. You will coordinate drivers, oversee container movements and fleet utilisation while maintaining safety and service standards.

You'll partner with customers, ports and internal teams to deliver reliable freight movements, apply CoR and NHVR compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising operations in transport/logistics environments.
• Strong transport planning, allocation or scheduling skills.
• Knowledge of CoR and transport compliance.
• Proven ability to lead drivers and teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with transport management systems and operational tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support drivers and staff daily.
• Coordinate fleet movements, load planning and resource allocation.
• Manage container inventory and park activities.
• Monitor wharf, rail and customer requirements to meet service commitments.
• Optimise fleet utilisation balancing safety, service and cost.
• Communicate operational updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure CoR/NHVR compliance and robust record-keeping.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
