Job summary

Indigitise is seeking an Integration Developer for an onsite role in Sydney. You will design, build, test and support secure, scalable API-led and event-driven integrations connecting departmental apps, platforms and external services.

You will implement cloud-native integration solutions using modern platforms, microservices and CI/CD practices, while collaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing and supporting API-led and event-driven integration solutions using microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data interchange, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, API gateways and service integration patterns.
• Cloud-native integration solutions using API management platforms, messaging and event-driven technologies, containerisation and orchestration platforms, and modern programming languages.
• Secure integration and identity solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure service to service communication.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps, observability, platform automation and AI-enabled software delivery practices.

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

Design, develop, test, deploy and support API-led and event-driven integration solutions that enable secure and scalable communication between departmental applications, platforms and external services.

Implement integration solutions using cloud-native services, messaging technologies and event-driven patterns to support business transformation initiatives, platform modernisation and service delivery outcomes.

Collaborate with architects, technical leads, developers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into high quality integration anddigital solutions.

Apply modern engineering and AI delivery practices, including AI enabled software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, automated testing and platform engineering standards that support secure, scalable and reliable service delivery.

Support the adoption of modern engineering practices, including microservices and event-driven architecture, API first design, platform engineering and reusable integration patterns.

Contribute to knowledge transfer and capability uplift by mentoring team members, sharing reusable approaches and supporting continuous improvement.
